ON THE GROUNDS OF WHAT REMAINS
On the Grounds of What Remains, is a collection of portraiture created to showcase historic architecture through stylized imagery in my hometown Port Huron, Michigan. Through the interplay of working with models, scouting locations, refining technical approach and curating mood boards and styling, I am able to fully express my artistic vision while showcasing my technical poise in photography. Set against the backdrop of historic buildings in my hometown of Port Huron, these images weave together a narrative that bridges past and future-honoring the architectural and cultural foundations while simultaneously reflecting my aspirations in this ever-evolving art form. This project is not just a visual exploration but a personal testament to the intersection of history and personal ambition, where roots from the past inform the aesthetic language of my future in fashion and editorial photography.
